Both models in the Shimano Ascenza BFS rod range are built to suit the increasingly popular Bait Finesse System (BFS) style of ultra-light baitcaster fishing. These two rods offer casting precision and superb lure control with even very light casting weights. Both rods feature genuine Fuji Alconite guides configured in a weight-saving and torque-reducing spiral wrap design. They also sport Fuji skeleton reel seats and custom split grips. The shorter Shimano Ascenza BFS 602 model is best suited to small, tight and skinny waters where super accurate presentations are essential, while the longer 732 model is ideal in scenarios where anglers might need to punch out a longer cast to reach the prime spots. Both these Shimano Ascenza BFS rods match up perfectly with either a Shimano SLX BFS or a Shimano Curado BFS reel for optimum ultra-light performance.
