Barambah Baby Bidjiwong
The Barambah Baby Bidjiwong is a unique hybrid lizard creature bait. It has a great paddler bib that puts out a lot of noise and splash. The joint and large rattle in the rear segment also add to its sonic attraction.

They have a TPE tail to improve its natural appearance and add profile. The tail can be easily changed if damaged. At 21g (3/4 Oz), it is easy to cast, and the action works well at a wide variety of speeds. Fitted with quality hooks and rings that give maximum hook exposure without fouling. The Baby Bidjiwong has a great action and is built tough for a wide range of target topwater species.
There's no better time than now to throw this amazing style of lure at your local river, the cold winter mornings couldn't be better for this type of fishing.

Cooby Dam
Closed.

Cressbrook Dam
Cressbrook has finally reopened its gates and has fished well since last week's cold snap, the colder weather has forced the fish up onto the newly formed weeded edges, the Jackall Squirrel 67 or 79 has accounted for good numbers of fish.

The edge bite has been consistent even through the middle of the day, finding the deeper weed once the sun is high is key to getting the bites during the tougher hours of the day. There is good numbers of fish schooled up in the main basin but have been quite hard to tempt, the bite period has been very short, the middle of the day has been when the fish are most active, Spoons and Soft plastics have worked well on these deeper fish.

Somerset Dam
Very tough fishing these past few weeks, the fish are very spread out and have been quite hard to find. The Kirkliegh Flats out from the cabins has seen the most action, the top end of Queen street also has spread out fish. Covering Ground searching for active fish can be done while trolling deep diving hard bodies this has been very effective.

The casting anglers are having the success on both spoons and plastics, keeping your lures tight to the bottom is a must. In the coming weeks we should see this lake fish exceptionally well once these fish school up in big numbers.

Leslie Dam
Reasonable reports from Leslie over the last few weeks, a few great cod were caught over the weekend with a local catching 1 over 90cm and a smaller fish in the 70's, these fish were caught trolling larger Spinnerbaits along the creek bed. The yellow belly fishing hasn't been the best for the lure fisherman while the bait anglers have had plenty of success on either saltwater yabbies, prawns and warms.

Glenlyon Dam
Some very good signs of what's to come from this lake as the weather gets colder, with consistent water levels the weed has grown well over the summer, The top water bite has been second to none with some great fish caught, the Barambah lures 200 Bidjiwong and the Mega Pompadour producing the fish. During the day heavy Chatterbaits and Spinnerbaits has produced some quality fish, casting these baits in the standing timber is always a fun way of catching these large fish.
